The required documentation for a Bulgaria mortgage application is as follows:

• Passport copy
• Proof of income: Last 3 pay slips if you are employed
• Last 3 Tax Returns (last 3 P60 if PAYE)
• Last 3 bank statements where income are received
• Employers Letter, stating the type of contract if you are employed
• A letter from your accountant certifying name of the company, nature of activity, turnover, dividends or profits for last 3 years, % of share in the company
• Any supplementary financial information, e.g. savings, investments etc. is also beneficial

Some banks require documentation to be verified by the Bulgarian Embassy
